Britt Moseley is an interdisciplinary artist based in Austin, Texas, and holds a BFA in Sculpture from Pratt Institute in New York and an MFA in Studio Art from the University of Texas at Austin. His work spans sculpture, video, performance, drawing, and sound, and has been presented in a wide range of arts contexts from municipal public art sites, museums, university galleries, film festivals and subway stations, to intimate project spaces, and large-scale outdoor events.

He has exhibited with the Hammer Museum (CA), Visual Arts Center at the University of Texas (TX), St. Ann’s Warehouse (NY), Aurora Dallas (TX), Rochester Contemporary Art Center (NY), Creek Show at Waterloo Greenway (TX), Ivester Contemporary (TX), Shed Shows (TX), Mass Gallery (TX), ICOSA Collective (TX), Jane Hartsook Gallery (NY), Folly Tree Arboretum (NY), LaMama ETC. (NY), Dixon Place (NY), Phipps Conservatory (PA), and Three Four Three Four (NY) among others.

His work has received support from the Asian Cultural Council, City Artist Corps (NY), and Wave Farm (NY), and he has participated in residencies including the Institute for Electronic Arts (NY) and St. Ann’s Puppet Lab (NY). Alongside his studio and performance practice, Moseley serves as faculty at St. Edward’s University (TX) and the University of Texas, San Antonio, teaching in Ceramics and Digital Art.

Moseley’s practice is deeply collaborative. He has developed projects with concert violinists, wildlife rehabilitation clinics, electronic musicians, puppeteers, and experimental arboretums, often building the environments for performance collectively. His DIY/DIT ethos has become central to his evolving research, seeing the process of “making” as a form of embodied understanding. His work frequently examines urban infrastructures, sound, and material labor, engaging with both artisanal traditions and emergent technologies.
