The slabs are a series of ceramic sculptures created from thick chunks of clay haphazardly made to stand up vertically. In form they resemble mountains or tombstones, and are essentially gigantic glaze test tiles for experimenting with glaze layering. The works are generally made out of high fire stoneware and reduction fired glazes at Greenwich House Pottery between the years 2015-2018.
