This print was constructed on top of “A Memory” with additions such as: a pencil drawing, painted numbers, and some digital manipulation. I wanted to make a connection between different mediums of memory: the calendar record, a photograph, a drawing, and the traces of erosion to a physical thing. This series was inspired by Jasper Johns’s maxim “Take an object. Do something to it. Do something else to it…” as a way of improvisationally exploring process and specific objects.
