Music video for Linckoln‘s track “Gold Coast” off their epic album Dew. This video was created in one take using a broadcast style video mixer, macroscopic camcorder imagery, Dave Jones analog video processing, and video distortion software running in Ableton Live. Similar to the album ‘Dew’ the video fits in an ambiguous space between reality and abstraction while using the images and sounds of a fantastical landscape to ground these sensory explorations. Both the video and the album use these basic material beginnings to launch into meditative software based abstractions. Created in a residency at the Institute for Electronic Arts in Alfred University, Alfred, NY.
