Taking the base print in the “Task Calendar”, I photographed it, printed it out to scale, photographed another calendar on top of the original print, and added small subtle details such as a screw, a blurry photograph, and a small hippo. The goal was to engage with the history of trompe l’oeil painting, focusing on the light and shadows of objects attached to a wall.
